Managing Director

Maldwyn Worsley-Tonks MBE

Maldwyn is red24's Managing Director and is a former Lieutenant Colonel in the Parachute Regiment. He has over ten years experience in the private security industry, and prior to joining red24 he was an independent risk management consultant to a number of high-profile multinational companies involved in the pharmaceutical, tobacco and mineral extraction industries in Russia and West Africa.

David Hill QPM

David is a former Deputy Chief Constable of the Gwent Constabulary. Prior to that, he was a Commander in the UK's National Crime Squad. In total, David has some 35 years' experience of working within the various divisions of the UK police force. In 1998, David was awarded the Queen's Police Medal in recognition of his services to policing.

Clinton Brannigan

Clinton is a former undercover operative with the UK's National Crime Squad and he has over 30 years' experience within the UK's national law enforcement apparatus. Clinton is responsible for the swift deployment and coordination of red24's UK Action Response Team.

UK Action Response Team

The UK Action Response Team is a dedicated team of experienced security professionals tasked to respond to your UK-based security crises. These individuals are all former detectives within UK law enforcement apparatus and have substantial experience in dealing with serious crimes. They are experts in dealing with, and taking statements from, victims of crime and vulnerable witnesses. Their skills come from a background of investigating murder, rape, serious sexual assaults, complex fraud cases, kidnap and ransom, extortion, and product contamination. They are experienced and adept at dealing with serious and complex investigations at both national and international level.

The response team is also skilled in the methods of covert policing, enabling them to carry out pro-active confidential investigations of a complex nature.

Neil Thompson

Neil is red24's Director of Special Risks and a former Detective Superintendent in the UK's National Crime Squad. Prior to joining red24, Neil was Head of Corporate Security Operations for the Orange Telecommunications group. He has over 30 years of law enforcement experience.

Legal Team

Tanya Sanderson-Smith

Tanya has a BA (Politics) from York University (Toronto) and an LLB from the University of Cape Town. She is currently studying, on a part-time basis, towards her LLM (International Commercial Law). Prior to joining red24 in March 2006, Tanya worked for an environmental law consulting firm. Previously, she has been employed in various banks in Toronto and Tokyo. Tanya has lived and worked in Canada, Japan and Namibia and has travelled extensively throughout North America, Europe, Southern Africa, the Caribbean and parts of South East Asia.
